This application utilizes the Device Administrator permission. Please note, functionality may be limited on Marshmallow devices where notifications are not visible due to API restrictions.

Designed to enhance user experience, this app conserves the power button and even offers a viable alternative by leveraging the proximity sensor to activate the screen and a soft-button for screen deactivation.

To enable the proximity sensor feature, simply install the application and activate the monitoring service for seamless functionality. Once enabled, screen activation is as simple as a touch and release on the proximity sensor.

Conveniently, users can utilize the soft-button to power off the screen by dragging and dropping the "WTN Turn Off" launcher from their applications list onto their home screen. Initial setup may prompt activation of the "Device Administrator" access which is essential for proper functionality.

For added flexibility, users can choose to deactivate the screen by tapping the notification icon if enabled in settings.

Important: Ensure Device Administration is deactivated prior to uninstalling. This can be achieved either through the application settings dialog (navigate to WTN Settings >> General Settings and unselect "Device Administrator") or directly from your device's Settings menu (locate Settings >> Security >> Device administrators and disable "Turn Off the Screen").
